Kissin’ in the Kitchen With Cookbook Author and Presenter Sheila Rae. May 16, Marriage Matters Jackson will host its Spring "date your mate" event at the City View Lofts downtown Jackson at 109 W. Washington. Nationally renowned presenter and cookbook author Sheila Rae will lead us through a unique night on the town filled with food and laughter. Both men and women will walk away with fresh ideas on how to combine food and flirting in the kitchen. This fun filled “date” is for everyone from newly married couples, to couples with adult children and engaged couples. Sheila Rae has cooked with prestigious chefs such as Art Smith, Oprah’s personal chef, and is a feature chef on The Bart Hawley Show. Sheila encompasses the whole audience with an evening of interactive mouth-watering culinary experiences. Couples will be ferried by limo from the parking lot to the front door of the City View Lofts. The atrium will be filled with fun, food and laughter. The balcony will have samplings of exotic fondues and several of the fabulous lofts will be open for viewing. The goal of Marriage Matters Jackson is to measurably impact families by providing marriage preparation as well as enrichment activities, which support strong and vital marriages. It promotes the empirical value and personal and societal merits of marriage for wives, husbands and children. So come join us for an evening out.
