“I never stopped loving her. I made a vow --
until death do us part.”
-Kim Carpenter, author of “The Vow”
In 2012, The Vow was the #1 movie in America, the story is based on the incredible real-life experience of Krickitt and Kim Carpenter – a newlywed couple who survived a tragedy and worked to keep their promises to each other. During a terrible car accident, Krickitt lost her memory and her loving husband, Kim, worked to win her heart all over again.
At MMJ’s date-your-mate event on Saturday, Oct. 22nd you’ll have a chance to enjoy the movie starring Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams, on the big screen at the Michigan Theatre. Then, you’ll hear a powerful message presented by the real-life couple, Kim and Krickitt Carpenter. When it would have been easy to walk away from each other, they turned to their faith and each other and found that love truly does conquer all.
"They are incredible people that are really extraordinary. Amazing people!”
--Rachel McAdams, actress
